North Carolina State Parks

There are 41 state parks in North Carolina. One of the things we are doing as a family is participating in the NC State Parks Passport program where you can receive cool prizes for visiting the state parks. We aren’t after the prizes though. For us, we love getting the stamp in our little passport book as a souvenir of some of the great places in NC that we’ve seen.
